What are cantilever legs?

Cantilever legs are generally made of metal, and are often a ‘C’ shape with a flat section on the floor, with either 1 or 2 upright sections, and another horizontal beam supporting the top itself. These tend to be very strong, and are often sprayed in an attractive colour to lighten the look of the workstation.
