At Verve Workspace we are business furniture and interior specialists, and we've been established since 2004. Our founder, Steve Allan has been in the industry since the early 1990's - and his ethos of bringing creative solutions to our clients, and approaching each clients needs individually has worked well for thousands of customers over the years. In an industry of faceless online 'box shifters' our approach is refreshingly 'old school' and we offer as much help as our clients would like.
We started in a single small office room in Northampton in 2004, and within a few short years we were able to open another small office in Royal Arsenal, Woolwich to serve our customers in that area. The London office was mainly a base for the sales team, and it was rarely visited by customers. We also opened a shared office space in East Kilbride, Scotland - which worked really well for the projects we worked on there.
We decided to buy some land in Northamptonshire in 2010 and build a compact and purpose built office and working showroom in Northamptonshire. It wasn't very large - but it was a cool space, and very efficient too. We felt that as a company that are experts in creating spaces that really work - we wanted to show what we could do when space was tight. We incorporated a red telephone box as a doorway, maps as flooring, and top hats as lights - so it's a fun space to work in.
As business grew, and the brilliant Verve team with it - we looked for a new base for our HQ and in 2020 we purchased a brilliant building in a rural location in Northamptonshire - yet just a stones throw from the M1. We've been able to stamp our mark on it, and we (along with our other Verve group companies) moved in in 2021. We've made it a brilliant place to work - practising what we preach. And because of the timing in the world, we have made it reflect the way companies are working more and more - flexibly, and with collaboration and private spaces.
Over the many year that Verve has been around, we've worked hard to make sure we're reliable and dependable, and can weather the storm of recessions, downturns, credit crunches and pandemics. In an industry where so many come and go - being established means that our customers have peace of mind that they're in good hands. And in 2018 - we updated our company motto to 'You're in good hands'.
